Little Stars Hall
We were able to introduce childcare for our younger children to gain social awareness and enhance their emotional growth through play, these sessions have been successful and continue to grow. Little Stars provide childcare and early interactions for children from 1 – 2 ½. We focus on early interactions to develop children's social & emotional development while exploring their surroundings. They have age related toys, focus tuff trays with various natural and malleable resources in order to explore touch, smell and textures. Our fabulous garden has plenty of play opportunities with ride on cars, a Wendy house, mud kitchen and small world toys. Children are also able to use the extended hours to include lunch and there's a lovely separate sleep area away for our sleepers. Little Stars children are able to move up into the Preschool hall once there is a place for them after a developmental assessment so its not a big jump for them. Little Stars runs is in conjunction with the Preschool's ethos and are committed to provide the best possible experiences for all children and families using their facilities.
All staff members work in both halls so the children can get to know them all, this supports their transitions into the preschool hall and their are assigned a key worker.
